95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Fragrant and spicy, the forward plummy fruit aromas of de Montille's Pommard Pézerolles are invitingly moreish. The texture is softer and less angular than Taillepieds; the wine still has grip, but it is the density of fruit that is most striking. The grapes are from two parcels totalling 1.35ha. Three-quarters are from very old vines in Le Clos de Pézerolles, completely fermented as whole clusters; the balance from young vines (Les Plantes), which are destemmed. The combination marries fruit, structure, and density. Drinking Window: 2027-2045. (10/30/24)"

95 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

92-95 points Fine Wine Review: "Blueberry fruit, smooth tannins, good body, nice freshness, no rusticity. (3/3/25)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "The Pézerolles really brings its game this vintage with its aromatics blasting and its concentration a step ahead of usual. Appealingly firm and rugged, a slate-y minerality courses through the compact palate that almost feels congested with flavor! Forest berries, cherry pit, violet, leather and a hint of gunpowder crowd in. Definitely worth waiting for six, seven or more years. (2025)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A bright and quite deep purple colour. The bouquet shows black raspberry. The oak shows a little bit more here, though less is used. The fruit is very vigorous at the front of the palate, drier tannins behind. This will take time. (Oct 2024)"

90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.36 ha holding). Riper and more deeply pitched aromas are composed by poached plum and black raspberry liqueur scents and, once again, a violet top note. The super-sleek, intense and beautifully delineated medium weight flavors also coat the mouth with sappy dry extract on the dusty, chalky, stony and youthfully austere finale. Like the Taillepieds in its fashion, this is pretty much textbook Pézerolles. Drink: 2031+. (Apr 2025)"
