94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Grapes were fermented with 50% whole clusters to give this slightly rustic wine a deep blackberry fruit, firm tannins and moderate length. The domaine acquired this parcel of 0.73ha from Dujac who had purchased it in the Moillard acquisition. The vines are situated fairly high on the slope with a southeast exposition, just to the south of Chaignots in sandy soils with a chalky profile. Drink: 2025-2050. (Nov 2021)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Grown on white sandy soil and vinified with 50% whole bunches. Medium deep purple, rather reduced. 12.8% alcohol explains the discretion but there is a blacker tint to the fruit. Not too dry at the finish. As always more sombre than racy. (Oct 2021)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .73 ha holding; 50% whole clusters). A more elegant, cooler and spicier nose reflects notes of the pretty essence of red currant, rose petal and a floral top note. The elegance continues on the palate of the nicely textured and quite punchy flavors that exude evident minerality on the sneaky long and moderately structured finish. As is usually the case, this is a Nuits 1er of refinement and even a certain finesse. Drink: 2030+. (Apr 2022)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Thorey 1er Cru, which has 50% whole bunch, has a fleshy ripe and generous bouquet with macerated small red cherries and raspberry coulis. The palate is medium-bodied with soft and fleshy tannins, quite Vosne-like in style with a rounded finish. It just needs a little more tension. Closure: Diam. Drink: 2024-2036. (Dec 2021)"
