Here too there is a subtle if perceptible application of wood surrounding the slightly cooler aromas of Granny Smith apples, mineral reduction, anise and jasmine tea wisps. The wood is also present on the palate of the markedly stony, precise and almost painfully intense flavors that culminate in a bone-dry, focused and youthfully austere finale.
