97 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The two grand crus chez Dauvissat are equally brilliant in 2023. The les Preuses is an absolutely classic expression of this magical terroir, offering up a vibrant, complex and beautifully precise bouquet of lemon, pear, a touch of clementine, kaleidoscopic minerality, paraffin, lemon peel and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is precise, mineral-driven, complex and full-bodied, with a stunning core of fruit, a fine girdle of acidity, utterly flawless balance and a very, very long, complex finish. Breathtakingly beautiful wine! 2033-2075. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

96 poinnts Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "In a swirling aromatic complexity, fruit aromas range from lime peel to guava, green apple and spice. A suggestion of white blossoms and a bit of toasty reduction are underlined with chalky minerality. The palate has lovely concentration, but the wine is never heavy; it has perfect finesse and precision. This wine is exceedingly youthful, and although it is undeniably delicious now, it will age tranquilly for at least another 30 years. This has it all. Drinking Window: 2035-2055. (5/23/24)"

93-96 points/'5 Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale colour with a green tint. Backward with real tension to the white fruit. Layers of dramatic fruit, with some exuberance, some fresh herbs, then a broad soft but joyful white fruit all the way through. Hot stones! Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Jun 2024."

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Scintillating on the nose with crushed apples, oyster shells, yeast packet and cheese rind, this is a thoroughly savory wine. Roaring acidity streaks up the back palate giving this freshness and crunch. It is sappy yet bone dry—a lovely juxtaposition. The charismatic, mineral finish is not in a rush. These vines sit next to La Moutonne. (2025)"

92-95 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .70 ha parcel planted in 1970). There is a fascinating hint of crushed fresh tarragon that I sometimes get in a classic Preuses along with hints of anise, petrol, white orchard fruit and a broad array of citrus elements. There is more volume still to the rich, enveloping and highly seductive medium-bodied flavors that display focused power on the equally impeccably well-balanced finale. This is Zen-like in its sense of harmony and a wine that should amply repay 10 to 12 years of cellaring. Drink: 2033+. (Oct 2024)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru was unusually reticent on the nose when I tasted it from barrel. it gradually unfolds with subtle lanolin and walnut scents. The palate is well balanced, refined and pretty, a more elegant Les Preuses perhaps. Not quite as rivetingly complex as the previous vintage, yet it is graceful and sustained in the mouth. Wonderful. Drink: 2032-2049. (Aug 2024)"
