96-98 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is more strict and linear on the nose compared to Les Preuses, gradually developing some subtle grilled almond and walnut aromas. You just need about 30 seconds and you are lost in the aromas. The palate is exceptionally well balanced with a nigh-perfect thread of acidity. This Les Clos displays ethereal poise from start to finish and is blessed with a pixelated quality that distinguishes it from any other. Brilliant. Candidate for wine of the vintage. Drink: 2025-2045. (Sep 2020)"

97+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is, if anything, more introverted than Les Preuses this year. Mingling notes of citrus oil, pear and crisp stone fruit with hints of fresh bread, vanilla pod and wet stones, it's full-bodied, layered and muscular, with huge concentration, framed by chalky extract and lively acids. Concluding with a long, saline finish, it will require considerable patience. Drink: 2029-2059. (Aug 2021)"

96 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 3 different parcels of 50+ year old vines that total 1.0 ha). A perfumed and slightly minty nose offers up notes of green apple, lemon zest, algae and oyster shell. The sleek, delineated and powerful large-scaled flavors are shaped by a firm citrus-tinged acid spine on the exuberantly spicy, strikingly long and bone-dry finish. This brilliant youthfully austere effort is also going to require extended patience before arriving at its apogee. In sum, this is a knockout. Drink: 2031+. (Oct 2021)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2019 les Clos from Domaine Dauvissat is equally stunning. The nose is pure, precise and multi-dimensional, offering up scents of lemon, pear, flinty minerality, a touch of oyster shell, beeswax, white lilies and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full and rock solid at the core, with superb mineral drive, snappy acids, excellent focus and cut and a long, poised and complex finish of impeccable balance and impressive backend lift. Gorgeous. 2026-2070. (Jan/Feb 2022)"

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Pale to mid yellow. The Dauvissat 2019 Grand Cru Les Clos is marked by gorgeous, opulent white fruit, serene, seamless and very long indeed, with a nice iodine mineral touch. The wine has the classical bench of white fruit that marks out this vineyard, giving less prominence to the marine element, which this year is striking in Les Preuses. (Jul 2020)"
