96 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Pale yellow. Bracing aromas of lemon, ginger, chalk and spices. At once dense and penetrating, with outstanding citric cut to the complex, slightly high-toned flavors of lemon zest, white pepper, minerals and subtle resiny spices. Here, too, the wine's intense chalky character gives it an impression of stronger acidity than the numbers would suggest. Boasts terrific fruit intensity, and the wonderfully precise finish goes on and on. A great showing today, and one of the superstars of the vintage. (Jul 2013)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2011 les Clos from Domaine Dauvissat is a bit more reserved than the utterly suave les Preuses from this vintage, but its inherent quality is every bit as easy to read. The deep and stunning nose offers up a youthful mix of pink grapefruit, green apple, complex, very flinty minerality, a touch of hay, orange zest and a gentle base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nascently complex, with great purity and focus, glorious mid-palate depth and brilliant length and grip on the snappy and still quite primary finish. A great wine in the making. 2018-2045. (Nov/Dec 2012)"

96 points (18/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "Les Clos is logically broader, with a fine bone structure, and the wine imposes its richness and breadth, a beautiful generosity with a fine finish. (Jan 2014)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2011 Chablis Les Clos is especially massive in this vintage. Rich, voluptuous and enveloping, the 2011 wraps around the palate with a crescendo of aromas and flavors supported by equally imposing structure. The style is quite powerful. It will be interesting to see if more Clos finesse develops over time. Drink: 2013+. (Aug 2013)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 7 different parcels of 50+ year old vines that total 1.7 ha). This is also highly perfumed with a pronounced floral component dominating the other aromas that are composed of citrus, seaweed, iodine and mineral reduction while leaving no doubt that this could be nothing other than Chablis. There is excellent size, weight and muscle to the overtly powerful and well-concentrated flavors that exude a fine minerality on the extract rich finish. This explosive effort is almost aggressively saline and should improve for up to a decade in bottle. Drink: 2021+. (Oct 2013)"
