Producer notes: "Dario’s theoretically every day white, originally made for the Japanese market, manages to be a thoroughly enchanting and unforgettable orange wine. Following Friuli’s Collio’s tradition it’s a variable field blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon carefully selected and picked at full maturity. The grapes, each in separate open vats, see skin maceration of a few days (usually 5 - 7 days) rather than the several weeks customary for his other wines. They age in separate and differently sized local woods until being assembled into this amber-hued supernova of a natural wine. It shimmers and sings with beeswax, pickled apricots, blood orange marmalade, incense and saffron honey with balsamic herbs."
