This sweeps across the palate with sleek textures and mineral-intense orchard fruits, taking on an almost crunchy sensation as a lemon-rind tartness settles in. It tapers off with a honeyed inner sweetness, yet not sweet, instead vertical and long with a hint of green melon that slowly fades. The 2020 is a refined interpretation of Damijan's Ribolla that I could sit with for hours watching it slowly unwind. This is simply stunning. Drink 2025-2033 (Apr 2024)"

94 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "Seeing up to three months of fermentation on the skins and aging in botti grandi, the Damijan 2020 Collio Ribolla Gialla is less aromatic compared to the other two wines, the Kaplja and the Nekaj, that I also tasted from this estate. The bouquet does have sweet aromas of honey-coated almond and dried apricot. The wine's orange appearance is slightly more saturated in this wine, and you get a clearer taste of the white wine tannins in this bottle. They feel dry and powdery, and there is a hint of white pepper on the close of this pretty wine. Drink 2024-2032 (Aug 2024)"
