94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The same is true of the other wines, which need two to three more years in bottle to harmonize. Reduced at this stage, Pur Sang exudes fine minty notes, with a savory power and a delicate mouthfeel. (2025)"

93 points Rebecca Gibb MW (Vinous): "The 2022 Pur Sang is done in a really sophisticated style. Despite its long élevage, it needs a little more time for its oak (demi-muids and cigar-shaped barrels) to integrate fully and for its sense of strictness to mellow. But this isn't a wine you'd crack open on release anyway. It is pure and clear, with fine texture and a tenderness to its core. The 2022 shows fine lines and length, with tangy green flavors like cornichons and dill meeting green orange on the finish. Drink 2025-2035 (Aug 2024)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2022 vintage of Pur Sang from the Dagueneau family is a lovely wine, but it seems just a touch soft for such a young wine and seems unlikely to have the same potential longevity of the 2014 or 2010 vintages here. The wine tips the scales at 13.5 percent alcohol in 2022 and offers up a deep, complex and grassy nose of gooseberry, fresh lime, damp grass, candied citrus peel and a lovely base of limestone minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, ripe and complex, with a fine core of fruit, a sound foundation of soil, good framing acids and a long, focused and very nicely balanced finish. Unless the youthful fruit here is hiding some of the wine’s acidity, this seems likely to be a vintage of Pur Sang that will be best drunk over the next decade. It will provide plenty of pleasure over this time, but my gut instinct is that it will not live as long as the 2014 version. 2025-2035. (Sep/Oct 2025)"
