91 points Tim Atkin, MW: "[14%] Youthful it may be for a Reserva, but this is a very well-balanced, forward expression of Tempranillo with 15% Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano. Aged in a 70/30 mix of American and French oak, it's bright and sweet, with chalky undertones and succulent raspberry and red cherry fruit. 2023-2030. (2023)."
90+ points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Cune Reserva was produced with a blend of Tempranillo with 15% Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo from Haro. 2018 was a warm and healthy year that delivered a wine with 14% alcohol and good balance. It fermented in 20,000-liter stainless steel vats and matured in French and American oak barrels for 18 months. It's a classical warm year in the style of 2009, or 2015, already with some tertiary notes, hints of earth and leather, spicy and with abundant tannins that call for food. 600,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2022. Drink 2023-2029. (02/29/24)."
89 points Wine Spectator: "Offers creamy notes of ripe cherry and red licorice underscored by a savory line of grilled herbs, ground coffee and smoke -- a fine interplay set in a fresh, medium-bodied frame, with light, crisp tannins. Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. Drink now. 42,000 cases made, 5,000 cases imported. (12/31/23)."
