91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Rioja “Crianza” bottling from Cuné is made half from estate grown vineyards and half from growers in the area around Haro whom the winery has worked with for most of the last century. The wine is composed from a blend of eighty-five percent tempranillo and fifteen percent a blend of garnacha and mazuelo. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and raised in American oak casks for one year prior to bottling. The 2019 Crianza delivers a classically-styled bouquet of red and black raspberries, cigar wrapper, clove-like spice tones, a fine foundation of soil tones and a nice touch of coconutty American oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and quite elegant in profile, with good depth in the mid-palate, lovely soil signature, suave tannins and a long, complex and very nicely balanced finish. This is a fine bottle and an outstanding value! 2023-2050. (May/Jun 2023)"

91 points James Suckling: "A delicious, early drinking crianza with berry and citrus aromas and flavors. Light to medium body, creamy tannins and a fresh finish. Vegan. Drink now. (9/9/22)"

90 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "[$15 list] The juicy and primary red 2019 Cune Crianza shows ripeness, at only 13.5% alcohol (they aim for 13%), but also has freshness. The oak is very subtle and integrated into the fruit that is at the front of the nose and palate. It has a touch of rusticity, an earthy touch on the palate. It's a blend of Tempranillo with 15% Garnacha and Mazuelo from Rioja Alta that fermented in 20,000-liter stainless steel vats and matured in used (mostly) American oak barrels for one year. They produce three million bottles of this and bottle it throughout the year. This is the wine that sets the bar in the red portfolio. Very good. Drink: 2022-2026. (Jul 2022)"
