It has not lost this character to this day. The tannins of the sample submitted by the estate are similar to those of Latour in terms of intensity, even if they are a touch less broad, but somewhat racier and more elongated. The nose is that of a Saint-Estèphe of the time, a touch animal at first, then balsamic, with notes of tobacco and cassis. I would leave the wine to mature for another ten years. Even if it is far removed from today's precision and makes up with power and character what it lacks in elegance: a great wine. (Nov 2010)"
