98 points James Suckling: "Perfumed aromas of subtle currants, roses, lavender and sage, following through to a medium body with super-fine tannins that caress the palate and leave it fresh and inspired. A gorgeous and graceful 2022. Drinkable now, but better in 2028. (2/27/25)"

98 points International Wine Report: "The 2022 Continuum Proprietary Red is composed of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot and it a wonderful showing in this vintage. It bursts open with gorgeous aromas of blackberries, black raspberries, and dark plums, along with notes of graphite, cocoa nib, and dried sage add depth and complexity. On the palate the wine immediately draws you in with its elegant full-bodied texture, which is beautifully structured with velvety tannins. It goes on to display remarkable concentration all the way through a long, mineral-laced finish. While this wine is already stunning in its youth, there's no doubt it will continue to evolve beautifully with time. Drink: 2027-2047. (Apr 2025)"

97 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (The Wine Palate): "The 2022 Continuum is composed of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 4% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it erupts from the glass with bold scents of crème de cassis, blueberry pie, and menthol, leading to hints of crushed rocks, iris bulb, and underbrush plus a waft of Indian spices. Full-bodied, the palate is rich and opulent, delivering a velvety texture with grainy accents and bags of freshness, finishing long and spicy. Drink: 2027-2052. (May 2025)"

96 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "Continuum's 2022 Proprietary Red is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot, aged 21 months in 58% new French oak. Attention-grabbing cherries lead the way, although there are darker undertones of plum and black olive, plus hints of dried sage, menthol and tobacco. It's medium- to full-bodied and silky in feel, and the tannins are smooth and harmonious but present, lingering easily on the lengthy finish. Drink: 2027-2041. (6/12/25)"

96 points Jonathan Cristaldi (Decanter): "An intensely expressive nose of rich mulberry and raspberry fruit, lifted by fragrant sagebrush, blue agave, and delicate violet florals. Cocoa-powder tannins frame the medium to full-bodied palate, where the fruit is deeply concentrated yet remarkably weightless. This is a beautifully constructed wine, crafted with precision yet driven by an emotional resonance that lingers with each sip. A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 4% Merlot, aged for 21 months on the lees in 58% new French oak and 3% in concrete amphora. Sourced from Continuum’s Sage Mountain Vineyard on Pritchard Hill, comprising 42 distinct vineyard blocks planted between 400 and 490 metres in elevation. The views are breathtaking, but the wine is genuinely extraordinary. Drinking Window: 2025-2038. (3/11/25)"

95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Based on 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 4% Merlot and aged 22 months in 58% new French oak (there's a small amount in concrete amphora), the 2022 Proprietary Red Wine is the flagship release from this mountain site and comes from a mix of different parcels on the estate. It has a deep ruby/purple hue as well as brilliantly perfumed and expressive aromatics of red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with flowery incense, violets, orange blossoms, and hints of iron. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, layered mouthfeel, ample mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. It's a huge success in this challenging vintage that will evolve nicely for a solid two decades. Drink 2025-2045. (12/22/25)"

Producer notes: "45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot. 2022 tells a story of subtle drama of the seasons. Aromatically effusive, 2022 Continuum is a seductive wine with an upright and regal core. Elegantly interwoven notes of black plum, black cherry, cacao, forest floor and tobacco leaf mingle with our sage mountain garrigue and volcanic minerality. Energetic and expressive, 2022 Continuum is a harmoniously integrated wine with structural complexity wrapped in a velvet robe."
