96 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2021 Chardonnay Amelia hails from the Quebrada Seca Vineyard in the Limarí Valley and was fermented in Burgundy barrels, 10% new. Green with yellowish sheen. The nose features green apple and pear notes along with ginger snap and herbs over a faint layer of cedar. Lean and fairly creamy in the mouth, the taut, refreshing acidity and pinch of salt make for an alluring flow. An intricately assembled white from Limarí in which the subtlety has been enhanced by the work with the lees and the wood. Drink: 2023-2033. (Mar 2023)"

96 points Tim Atkin, MW: "A single block in Quebrada Seca supplies the grapes for this outstanding Chardonnay from Marcelo Papa. Deftly wooded in 10% new French oak, it has delightful balance and focus, notes of orange zest, waxed lemons and vanilla spice and a racy, oyster shell finish. Essence of the Limarí Valley. 2023-2030. (2023)"

96 points Zekun Shuai (JamesSuckling.com): "Pure and incisively mineral with oyster shell and chalk on the nose with some green pineapples, lemon and a twist of sour cream. Tense but creamy on the palate with a supple mouthfeel that rounds off the refreshingly high acidity. Saline, delicious finish. Drink now. (12/8/23)"

96 points Descorchados: "This is from a selection of blocks from Concha y Toro's vineyard in Quebrada Seca, an area of calcium-rich soils on the banks of the Limarí River, very close to the cool Pacific influence. Although it's still very young, with the imprint of the oak on the surface (it was aged in barrels for a year), it already shows the characteristics of the best chardonnays from that origin: saline notes, depth of flavors, sharp acidity, the voluptuousness offered by the clays present among the calcium carbonate. A white full of a sense of place. (Jan 2023)"

95+ points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Amelia Chardonnay was produced with a selection of Chardonnay from Quebrada Seca in Limarí on limestone-rich soils. It fermented in French oak barrels, 10% of them new (they have lowered the new oak), where the wine matured for 12 months. It has 13.7% alcohol, a pH of 3.19, denoting lots of freshness, and very good acidity. This is superb, with purity, elegance and balance, serious, a little austere, floral and fresh with subtle oak and a vibrant palate with citrus freshness, and it has an amazing salty finish. Dry, chalky, amazing! 13,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2022. Drink: 2023-2029. (4/6/23)"

94 points Amy Wislocki (Decanter): "A layered and complex Chardonnay from cool-climate Límari, made by Concha y Toro's talented winemaker Marcelo Papa. Rich, ripe and concentrated in style, it beguiles with buttered salted popcorn, white peach and lemon peel aromas and flavours, with nutty, toasty notes from gentle oaking, and an underlying minerality. Very persistent in the mouth, the length goes on and on. Drinking Window: 2024-2030. (2/13/24)"
