92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fine pale lemon colour. The bouquet offers precision in a mineral style of Meursault, but not massively demonstrative. Lemon infused minerals almost to the point of being severe, but there is clearly a significant volume of fruit still to emerge. I can see the Clos de la Barre growing in stature from here. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted Oct 2023."
93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2024).
92+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Meursault Clos de la Barre has turned out very well in bottle, delivering an attractive bouquet of pear, citrus oil, freshly baked bread and toasted hazelnuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive palate, concluding with a long, penetrating finish. Along with the terrific 2020, this gets my nod as the finest Clos de le Barre in recent years. Drink: 2027-2045. (Jan 2025)"
90-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Smoky floral and essence of pear aromas are trimmed in discreet spice and citrus wisps. There is better mid-palate density to the vibrant and attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess slightly better depth and persistence on the firm, well-balanced and lightly austere finale. This seemingly always boxes above its weight and it has done so again in 2022. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
