94 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "The 2022 Meursault from Comtes Lafon is rich with classic ripe apple, butter, and hazelnut aromas. The texture is rich and creamy, but the wine avoids heaviness through a fine balance of acidity and extract. Half of the grapes are from the Clos de la Baronne monopole in the heart of the village; the other half is a combination of sites, including En Luraule and En La Barre, with grapes declassified from the younger vines of the premier crus. The grapes are slowly pressed as whole clusters and fermented in cask before ageing over two winters. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (May 2023)"

93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2024).

92-93 points/'Five Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Half comes from Clos de la Baronne, half from three other plots, to which have been added the young vines of Perrières (2017) and some Charmes from the same year. Pale lemon and lime, with a nose which is clearly more complex than Baronne on its own. The fruit is fully ripe but there is a vibrancy behind, a faint touch of honeysuckle but mostly pure and fresh orchard fruit. Fantastic. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted Oct 2023."

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Meursault Village comes from five parcels plus some de-selected fruit from Les Perrières and Les Charmes. It has a light bouquet at first, opening in the glass with hints of dried honey and quince mixed with grilled almonds. The medium-bodied palate shows commendable purity and touches of tropical fruit mixed with white pepper. Nicely focused with quite a persistent finish. Very classy. Drink: 2025-2040. (Jan 2024)"
