90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "All blended and back to barrel. A touch of lemon in the colour, clean and without reduction, quite a strict style for Meursault. There is quite a lot more fruit concentration than the Clos de la Baronne alone, with some racy fresh apples to finish. Good persistence. Drink from 2025-2029. (Oct 2022)"
91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).
89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound) "Not surprisingly, this is aromatically fresher with its very Meursault nose of acacia blossom, white orchard fruit and hazelnut-inflected scents. There is excellent cut and punch to the medium weight flavors that conclude in a more complex, clean, dry and chiseled finish. Lovely. Drink: 2028+. (6/10/23)"
89-91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Meursault Village includes a little more Clos de la Baronne this year. This has a slightly minty bouquet and background scents of pine that complement the citrus fruit. The palate is well defined with a pleasant "bite" on the entry, with hints of walnut and orange peel, fanning out gently towards the finish that lingers in the mouth. Enjoy this Meursault over the next 12-15 years. Drink: 2025-2040. (Nov 2022)"
88-90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Offering up aromas of pear, toasted nuts and honeycomb, Lafon's 2021 Meursault Village is medium-bodied, satiny and charming, with a glossy, ample, open-knit profile that suggests it will drink well young. (1/31/23)"
