94 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "This wine boasts forward, ripe passionfruit aromas with hints of acacia flower, mineral, and spice. The complexity and depth of flavour only increase on the palate, sustained by the wine’s crisp acidity; this freshness, along with medium body and pronounced fruit character, make for a dynamic wine that lingers on the palate. The grapes come from nearly a hectare in metayage from René Manuel. This wine should drink well and will only improve with cellaring. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (Oct 2022)"

93 points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "The crop from this vineyard was all but wiped out in 2016 but came through 2021 in much better condition. Mid lemon colour. The bouquet is immediately attractive, white orchard fruit, and the palate is much cleaner than Clos de la Barre. The acidity integrates nicely, leaving a mineral tingle. The finish is impressive, once again. Drink from 2026-2031. (Oct 2022)"

(91-93) points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Meursault Les Porusots 1er Cru is one of the most backward and distant on the nose, despite rigorous coaxing. This only reluctantly unfolds in the glass. The palate is much more expressive with a touch of liquorice on the entry, blackcurrant leaf and citrus fruit, though I just want to see a little more Meursault DNA on the finish. Fine. Drink 2025-2042 (Jan 2023)"

(91-93) points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Meursault 1er Cru Porusots unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, crisp green apple, white flowers, toasted almonds and bread dough. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's a racy, vibrant wine, the cooler vintage tempering the somewhat open-knit profile that this climat sometimes displays. (Jan 2023)"
