A discreet but not imperceptible application of wood sets off equally fresh and cool aromas of plum, dark currant and subtle earth nuances. The finer but not denser medium weight flavors also exude evident minerality on the beautifully well-detailed finish that offers equally good length if perhaps not quite the depth, at least not yet. This is a very fine Volnay villages and well worth a look. Drink: 2028+. (Apr 2023)"

Supple, waves of faintly cushioned red fruit – very attractive. That’s a really fine villages – simply excellent – very long finishing. A modestly reductive depth of aroma but this nose is quite silken. Wider, modestly textural from the tannin but hardly any grain. Really a juicy finish from this – thats a lovely attractive finish. The last drops in the glass are pure and lovely. (1/3/23)"
