97 points/'Editors' Choice,' Wine Enthusiast: "Despite the intensely ripe vintage, there's plenty of elegance in this sun-drenched yet mineral, lifted Chardonnay. Matured 12 months in lightly toasted oak barrels (one-third new), it's slightly richer and nuttier than this producer's village-level Chassagne-Montrachet but maintains exhilarating yellow-pear and tart tangerine flavors. Approachable young, the wine should soar from 2025 to 2035. Alcohol 13.5%. (Dec 2021)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A light green tint here. More fruit than oak, definitely a lime infusion running through, with plenty of energy and then a softer white fruit finish. Chenevottes is always a good cuvée chez Philippe Colin. (Sep 2020)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here too there is just enough wood to merit pointing out on the mildly exotic nose of orange peel, spiced apple and rosemary oil. There is again excellent volume and mid-palate density to the opulent and sappy flavors that also offer fine depth and persistence on the balanced finale. Lovely. Drink: 2025+. (Jun 2021)"
