The deep and reticent nose offers up scents of apple, a touch of grapefruit, iodine, hazelnuts, vanillin oak and a great base of complex soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very structured, with great mid-palate depth, snappy acids, and excellent focus and cut on the very long, pure and palate-staining finish. Another great wine in the making. 2015-2035. (Nov/Dec 2009)"

Then dense and superconcentrated, with terrific inner-mouth energy to the flavors of peach, orange blossom, lemon and crushed stone. Time-capsule Meursault, finishing with superb length. This too should age very well. (Sep 2010)"
