98 points Jeff Leve (The Wine Cellar Insider): "If you are seeking a thrill ride, and Pomerol is your type of thrill, look no further. This is pure bottled decadence. The wine is silky, sexy, sensuous and concentrated. There is a beautiful purity in the fruit and a finish that could break the 50-second mark. And the wine still sells for a song for a wine at this level of quality. (Jul 2018)"

97 points Jane Anson (Decanter): "The definition of poised and confident, this has pretty much consistently delivered since the very first taste during En Primeur. Deeply layered, textured, confident and powerful, both very Pomerol and very 2010. Coffee beans and bitter chocolate are the dominant flavours alongside cassis and blackberry autumnal berry fruits. Both gourmet and restrained. Just about ready to go but will hugely benefit from three to four hours in carafe first, and will further improve over the next few years, and indeed over the decades to come. Drinking Window: 2020-2045. (Jan 2020)"

97 points James Suckling: "Gorgeous nose with lots of dark fruit like plum and blueberries. Crushed pepper and chalk with wild strawberries and vanilla. Dense and velvety on the palate with superbly polished tannins and great depth. It's absolutely gorgeous now but needs at least five to six years of bottle age to really shows its great quality. (11/14/13)"

96+ points Robert Parker: "The blend is largely dominated by 85% Merlot, with some Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc also included. Inky/purple-colored, the wine has an exceptionally full-bodied, layered, moderately tannic mouthfeel and impressive power. Loads of melted chocolate/fudge and black fruits galore along with some coffee bean, mocha, as well as some background oak are all present in this big, formidably endowed, masculine style of Pomerol that will take longer to shed its tannin than the 2009. I would give this wine 5-6 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 30+ years. Drink: 2018-2048. (2/27/13)"

96 points Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux): "(85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon). Grilled oak, touches of bitter chocolate and smoked rosemary and cumin herbs, this is clearly still muscular, cassis fruits, liquorice, slate, dark and bristling, needs another few years in bottle but it is on the way towards a brilliant wine. 60% new oak. Ronan Laborde owner Alcohol 14%. Drink: 2025-2042. (9/17/24)"

96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2010 Clinet is a baby, but man, what a wine. Checking in as mostly Merlot, with small amounts of both Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this deep ruby/purple-tinged beauty gives up fresh, tight aromas of blackcurrants, black cherries, damp earth and forest floor, with its background oak buffered by serious amounts of fruit. Full-bodied, concentrated and deep, yet also elegant and layered, with the freshness, purity, and structure of the vintage, it sings even today with a decant, but is best with a few more year of bottle age. It’s going to keep for 2-3 decades. Drink: 2017-2047. (12/12/17)"

96 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "A blend of 85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc in this vintage, from 8.34 hectares of vines. This has a certain aromatic confidence on the nose, with dried berry fruits, currants and juniper, threaded with leather and spice. The nose suggests a certain solidity, and the palate builds on this, with a coherent combination of polished and maturing fruits, all leather, truffle and toast, just a touch of chalky lift, and a very confident but polished and finely knit wrapping of tannins reflecting the warm success of the vintage. This all holds up very well in the finish as well, with a touch of matchstick to it as well. An impressive 2010, but it still feels very hunkered down, and while the tannins are so fine you could drink this now the substance and fruit cry out for more time, for my palate, anyway. Delicious;drink or hold, but preferably the latter. The alcohol is 14.5% on the label. (Apr 2024)"

96 points Falstaff: "Dark ruby with purple reflections and subtle rim brightening. A multi-faceted bouquet with background black berry fruits, savoury oak notes, liquorice and subtle hints of tangerine. Juicy, taut and sweet on the palate with elegance, charm and a very long finish. Definite ageing potential. (2/12/16)"

95 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Advocate): "Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Clinet rolls sensuously out of the glass with notes of Black Forest cake, blueberry compote and plum preserves plus hints of cigar box, cardamom and cloves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals pleasant poise with loads of savory sparks on the finish. Drink: 2020-2041. (3/5/20)"
