92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Maizières, which comes from clayey, fossil-rich soils, has a fragrant bouquet with Morello cherries, wild strawberry and light rose petal scents. Very understated at first but gaining intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant sapidity on the entry, fine tannins, pleasing sharpness with a touch of Asian spice on the finish. Very elegant and it will drink well over the next 12 to 15 years. Drink: 2025-2040. (Jan 2024)"
90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A little more density to the ruby colour. More raspberry than strawberry, with the underlying cherry that seems very present this year. Ripe enough fruit on the palate, building to the back, a very complete wine, with the fruit covering the acidity nicely. Persistent. (Nov 2023)"
89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(55+ year old vines situated right below Suchots). A more deeply pitched and slightly riper nose combines notes of plum and red berries with those of crushed fennel and violet. The firm serious and markedly bigger medium-bodied flavors flash evident power though not the same refinement on the built-to-age and mildly rustic finale which makes clear that at least some patience will be required. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2024)"
