95 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Touches of spice and cherry stone in Les Beaumonts, whose clay soil adds volume to the palate, but without heaviness, with magnificent scope and pronounced tannins: penetrating, it tightens on the finish. (2024)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Medium density of purple. A fine purity of raspberry fruit, a little more angular on the palate, more hillside, less velvet. Fills the mouth beautifully with a return of the fresh raspberry at the back. Three barrels made. Drink from 2027-2034. (Nov 2022)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 50+ year old vines on the Flagey side). A more elegant, and slightly cooler, nose reflects notes of just picked cherries, exotic tea and hints of anise and clove. There is more weight and punch to the bigger and more powerful flavors that also exude minerality on the moderately austere, focused and impressively long finish. This could use better depth but that's what bottle aging is for. Lovely. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2023)"

91-93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru is a tense, nervy wine. It offers good depth and persistence but remains somewhat compact in feel. It will be interesting to see if the fruit emerges or if the 2021 remains reticent, as is. This is promising. Mineral, savory and soil-inflected notes dominate for now. Drink: 2025-2029. (Jan 2023)"
