92-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Firm reduction masks the underlying fruit. Otherwise, there is a similar texture to the sleek, mineral-driven and tension-filled medium weight flavors that also conclude in a chalky but more muscular, precise and sneaky long finish that is again moderately austere. This is a very serious wine that I would strongly recommend not touching for at least 6 to 8 years and 10 would be better. With that said, it offers first-rate development potential. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2023)"
92-94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Cras Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru is superb. Dark and mysterious, the Cras offers up a beguiling range of dark berry fruit intermingled with cloves, new leather and incense, all of which help to convey a sense of sepia-toned, virile intensity. Large and ample on the palate but also refined for Nuits, the Cras boasts notable depth and very fine balance. It is unquestionably one of the finer wines in this range. Drink: 2025-2029. (Jan 2023)"
92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A much more intense purple colour, which is always the case and with every producer. Even the nose suggests a much darker fruit and thicker texture. Rich blackcurrants and wild blueberries. Little berries with thick skins, says Bruno. Good acidity alongside the tannins, a more formal structure at the back. Exciting! 1 x 350 litre barrel made. Drink from 2027-2035. (Nov 2022)"
