96 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Structured, generous profile in the Corton, with fat but very detailed and legible, and a great mouthwatering salinity on the finish: a remarkably full, well-balanced wine. (2024)"

92-94 points/'Sweet spot,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from yields of only 10 hl/ha in 2021). A wonderfully fresh if decidedly restrained nose grudgingly reveals its aromas of primarily red currant and cherry that are nuanced by hints of forest floor and a pretty floral hint. There is excellent volume, punch, power and mid-palate density to the muscular and lightly mineral-driven flavors that possess a seductive mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the less austere, complex and lingering finale. This beauty also possesses first-rate development potential. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2023)"

91-93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Corton Le Rognet Grand Cru is terrific. It has just enough depth to balance the more angular leanings of the year. Layered and enveloping, with lovely aromatic intensity, the Rognet opens beautifully in the glass. Hints of blood orange, red berry fruit, white pepper and rose petal all grace this finely cut, nuanced Corton from Bruno Clavelier. The 2021 is promising. Drink: 2025-2029. (Jan 2023)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Oxfordian limestone with digonella is the geological news. Two barrels made. A bright mid purple. A little barrel toast appears on the nose. Powerful fruit but the oak tannins dominate, and will need to calm down. Bright red currant and raspberry fruit to finish. Drink from 2027-2034. (Nov 2022)"
