92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW: "A fine mid purple of medium intensity. The nose has a class that brings one back towards Vosne-Romanee. Alpine strawberries and similarly fine boned raspberries. In the mouth the proximity to Musigny is more evident as the fruit broadens out. A good fruit/tannin/acid blend and fine persistence. Drink from 2027-2035. (Nov 2022)"
91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(planted with vines of 20+ and 65+ years of age that sit directly above Musigny). Airy, cool and strikingly pure aromas speak of the essence of red currant, rose petal, acacia, anise and a hint of allspice character. The super-sleek, intense and precise middleweight flavors exude more evident minerality though not the same power or muscle, all wrapped in a chalky, saline, chiseled and sneaky long and youthfully austere finale. This is very classy and in contrast to the Noirots, the epitome of 'Chambolleness'. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2023)"
