There is a great purity to the red and black fruit character, accented with floral notes and a bit of peppery spice. The structure is silky, yet not lacking structure or grip; this is a wine that places the emphasis on finesse and elegance. The grapes are from nearly a hectare owned by the domaine at the top of the slope above La Tâche. Even though it is right next to Aux Reignots, it is classified as villages.
