97 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "What a stunning wine from this underrated appellation. Racy and intensely minerally on the nose, with blood orange freshness and pomegranate fruit that are really startling. Beautifully integrated tannins on the medium-bodied palate. What energy at the very long, focused finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (6/4/25)"

90-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A slightly more deeply pitched nose of plum and black cherry also displays floral top notes. On the palate there is excellent vibrancy and definition while the medium-bodied flavors deliver solid depth and persistence on the dusty, serious and lingering finale. Grasses Têtes almost always produces wines with good acidity and this example is consistent with that. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2025)"

91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (Jan 2025).

90-91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of cassis, vine smoke and orange zest introduce the 2023 Marsannay Les Grasses Têtes, a medium to full-bodied, rich and sensual wine with a sweet, succulent core of fruit girdled by lively acids and powdery tannins. (Jan 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(‘Always the most tannic…’) Hmm – super perfume again – more obvious purity of florals. Extra structure – drink the Vaudenelles whilst waiting for this one. So long too – wait 3 years – top wine. (Jan 2025)"
