93 points Tim Atkin, MW (Jan 2017).

91-93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .25 ha parcel that is located near En Ergot). Like several of the wines in the range this is wonderfully fresh, bright and expressive with its elegant collection of red cherry, pomegranate, floral and discreet spice-scented nose. There is equally good freshness and underlying tension to the intensely mineral-driven medium weight flavors that deliver excellent punch and drive to the lingering, balanced and sleek finale. This is presently firmly structured and while by no means hard, it will need all of 12-ish years or so to fully resolve. Lovely juice. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2017)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle demanded patience for the nose to develop. It eventual does open up and offer attractive crushed strawberry, raspberry preserve and cold stone aromas, just a hint of incense developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, slightly meaty in style with a well-defined finish that needs more time to fully absorb the oak. Good depth and substance here, it will benefit from 3-4 years in bottle. Drink: 2019-2035. (Dec 2016)"

90-92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(these vines are 60 years old): Moderately saturated medium red. Slightly muted aromas of strawberry, raspberry and brown spices, lifted by a note of dried rose. Shows good fat and breadth on entry, then conveys a mineral firmness in the middle palate. The wine's strong strawberry fruit leads to a persistent finish featuring slightly dusty tannins. Good dimension here but not yet filled in; the wine's mineral energy makes it a bit youthfully disjointed in the early going. There's a lot of calcaire in the subsoil--as well as plenty of clay but little or no marl. (Jan 2017)"
