89-92 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(this cuvée is mostly from La Charmotte and Au Chouillet, with bits and pieces from Aux Saints Jacques, Les Charmois, Les Maladières, Les Chaliots and Les Brûlées plus a few others too small to mention). An ultra-fresh nose speaks of ripe red and dark berries plus an abundance of earth character. There is better volume and density to the energetic medium weight flavors where the supporting tannins are unusually fine in the context of what is typical for a Nuits villages. Excellent and worth your interest. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2025)"

89-91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes offers up aromas of sweet cherries and berries framed by a deft touch of new oak, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy and giving palate that's somewhat reminiscent of the domaine's charming 2017. (Jan 2025)"

89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A fine even purple, with immediate fresh raspberry fruit, crunchy but still really structured, much darker fruit behind. Rugged not rustic, with decent length. A solid, concentrated, Nuits-St-Georges. (Nov 2024)"

90+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2023 Nuits AC bottling chez Chevillon is outstanding this year. The bouquet is deep, pure and classy, wafting from the glass in a mix of red and black cherries, pigeon, woodsmoke, a lovely base of soil, peonies, nutskin and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and deep at the core, with fine soil transparency, ripe tannins and fine length and grip on the complex and very well balanced finish. Fine juice. 2035-2075. (Jan/Feb 2025)"
