93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A lovely mid purple. This has a more voluptuous layer of fruit to it. A liquid deep raspberry at the front of the palate, firmer tannins behind, fair concentration and length. A very seductive long aftertaste. (Nov 2024)"

95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2023 Chevillon family’s example of les St. Georges is pure magic. The wine is stunningly pure, refined and nascently complex, wafting from the glass in an aromatic fireworks display of dark berries, red and black cherries, coffee bean, woodsmoke, gamebird, a complex base of dark soil tones, a touch of graphite, vanillin oak and a topnote of roses. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, very complex and beautifully sappy at the core, with great focus and balance, ripe tannins and a long, precise and utterly refined finish. 2040-2095. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

93-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges is lovely, mingling notes of cherries and cassis with hints of rose petal and vine smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping palate that's seamless and lively, with good depth at the core and powdery structuring tannins. (Jan 2025)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .60 ha parcel of 75+ year old vines). This is aromatically similar to the Les Cailles with just a bit more fruit from the red side of the spectrum. On the palate though there is slightly more size and weight to the medium weight flavors with even more evident minerality adding a sense of lift to the balanced, long and more austere finale. This is firmer and more compact than the Les Cailles so at least some patience is advised. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2025)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a nicely detailed, marine-influenced bouquet that opens beautifully in the glass, revealing light seaweed scents with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation and gentle grip, as just a touch of espresso tinctures dark berry fruit and a nuance of tobacco emerges on the finish. The 2023 is quite a sinewy Les Saint-Georges. Drink: 2028-2045. (Jan 2025)"
