92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru has a much more reserved bouquet than the Genevrières, offering crushed limestone and green apple aromas and erring toward Puligny in style. The taut, linear palate is very saline in style, a Meursault that gets the saliva flowing. Perhaps a more cerebral Meursault than expected, although the Genevrières has a bit more... charm. Drink: 2022-2040. (Jan 2020)"
92 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A cool, pure and restrained nose freely offers up notes of various white orchard fruit, citrus peel and a hint of hazelnut. There is once again excellent vibrancy if only average mid-palate concentration to the textured and citrus-tinged flavors that exhibit lovely complexity on the lingering, firm and built-to-age finish. Note that at least some patience will be required. Drink: 2028+. (Jun 2020)"
