97 points/'Editors' Choice,' Anne Krebiehl, MW (Wine Enthusiast): "[$150 list] Cherry blossom, rose petal and freshly dug beetroot mingle into notes of raspberry preserves and Maraschino cherries in this perfumed blend of grapes from six plots within the walled Clos Marey-Monge monopole vineyard. A powerful but vibrantly cut expression of Pommard, it's packed with luscious red fruit lifted by streaks of redcurrant acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins. There's a lot of aging potential in this wine but it's also lovely in youth. Alcohol 14%. (Dec 2021)"

96 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Falstaff): "The rich aroma of ripe red and black cherry, almost with an overtone of Amarena fills the nose and is both elegant and generous at once. More air allows a hint of petrichor. The palate then is surprisingly tender and offers notions of beautifully tart and pure redcurrant. There is an edge of sinewy tannin, and a little alcoholic heat, but above all a lovely and pervasive freshness and real backbone. An apt expression of Pommard. (8/8/21)"

96 points James Suckling: "What a complex and elegant array of red cherries, dried flowers, slate, white truffles and wild raspberries here. Silky and refined tannins that melt into the wine. Medium- to full-bodied. Mineral, long and sophisticated Pommard that goes well beyond village level. Drink or hold. (6/27/23)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The fully blended Clos Marey-Monge is always my favorite of the various bottlings produced here at Château de Pommard, as the various lieux à dits that make up the final cuvée always seem to dovetail so beautifully together and the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts. The wine is nicely red fruity in 2019, offering up a deep and complex nose of red plums, red and black cherries, woodsmoke, pigeon, a nice touch of sweet stem tones from the whole clusters, woodsmoke and new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with ripe, buried tannins, fine focus and grip, bright acids and a long, nascently complex and very well balanced finish. This will take some time to blossom, but it will be excellent! 2033-2085. (Jan/Feb 2022)"
