92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pure even lemon yellow. The bouquet has a class which the straight bottling cannot aspire to. I keep going back to it. To have this class while retaining the body of a fine Charmes is impressive. A broad base of pure white fruit, perhaps just a touch too oaky for the moment, but that is the house style. (Oct 2023)"

Once again there is plenty of smoky character suffusing the slightly cooler aromas of green apple, lemon rind, spice and a hint of exotic tea. There is excellent cut and solid mid-palate concentration to the markedly more mineral-driven flavors that possess an even sleeker mouthfeel, all wrapped in a chiseled, youthfully austere and impressively long finish that displays focused power. This is quite tightly wound and a wine that is going to need at least some patience. Drink: 2032+. (Jun 2024)"
