In the initial two nosings after the pour, delicate, if shy, aromas of brown butter and almonds greet the olfactory sense; aeration serves to deepen the already buttery fragrance into bacon fat. Palate entry is round, moderately rich, and semisweet; by the midpalate point the taste profile adds flavors of bittersweet chocolate and nougat. It finishes medium-long, bittersweet, and spicy.
