96 points (18/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "The Corton-Bressandes still bears the mark of the grape. Its purity is complemented by a beautiful floral note. Despite the density and depth of its juice, it remains delicate on the palate. Full-bodied and rich, it nevertheless retains its elegance. (2020)"

94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Stylistically, the 2017 Corton “Bressandes” from the de Nicolay family is far more to my tastes, as this is a much more classically-proportioned young Corton than the more powerful 2018 version. The wine included one hundred percent whole clusters in this vintage. The bouquet is already very beautiful in its evolution, wafting from the glass in a blend of cherries, red currants, grilled venison, a beautiful base of stony soil tones, coffee, bonfire, Corton spices and cedary oak. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full-bodied, with lovely, tangy acids, excellent focus and grip, a fine core of red fruit, still a nice touch of stems, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and impeccably balanced finish. This is going to be a great bottle of Corton. 2032-2100. (Jan/Feb 2023)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of dark fruits, nori, licorice, rich soil, blood orange, rose hip and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and satiny, its fine-grained tannins largely concealed in a gourmand core of succulent fruit, concluding with a saline, mineral finish. Long on complexity and character, this is a terrific Corton Bressandes. (Jan 2019)"

93.3 points CellarTracker.com community score.

93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Produced from a 1.45 hectare holding in Bressandes, this gives a wine with bright, high-toned cherry fruit and pleasant floral aromas. The wine is less massive than the Clos du Roi, but it is more expressive aromatically. On the palate, it is silky and fresh, yet still tannic and substantial. The overall impression is one of seamless integration and elegance. Drinking Window: 2021-2034. (1/10/20)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from three separate plantings that have an average vine age of <35 years). Subtle hints of wood toast are present on the cool and overtly floral-inflected aromas of red berries, smoke, sandalwood and spice. The mouth feel of the middle weight plus flavors are finer yet there is the classic Corton muscle that shows up on the notably firm, powerful and driving finish. As the best examples of Bressandes always are, this is a wine of power and refinement. Drink: 2032+. (Oct 2019)"
