93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The Reignots offers a brilliant perfume, a little redcurrant livening up the other red berries and cherries. Starts with this pure and precise fruit then builds very attractively on the palate. A little vanilla from the oak but the fruit is more than equal to the wood tannins. 60% new wood for this cuvée. (Nov 2023)"
92-95 points/'Sweet spot,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .24 ha parcel of 20+ year old vines planted in a mix of rock and sand). A discreet application of wood sets off the cool aromas of mostly red berry fruit aromas that are cut with plenty of floral and spice wisps. The sleek, delicious and vibrant flavors are even finer while offering ample minerality, all wrapped in a youthfully austere, focused and balanced finish. This is terrific and altogether lovely and very Reignots. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2024)"
94 points/'Very Fine+,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Vosne Reignots is a highly hedonistic effort, and possibly one of the best Reignots I’ve tasted from Cathiard (I have said this before). The vines are starting to show the benefits of their age, with the fine minerality of upper Reignots shining through. On the palate there is rich, silky fruit with a clear saline note to grace your palate. With finely grained minerality, this is wonderfully delicate. Drink from 2034. (11/21/23)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(The youngest vines of Sébastian’s 1ers in Vosne). Hmm – that’s a super nose – there’s depth and complexity – more oak for sure but who cares! Hmm, creamy from the barrel but a wine of presence – a texture of velour and plenty of concentration. I wouldn’t hesitate to wait 5-8 years for this as the barrel is very clear today but the finish is really great! (1/12/24)"
