91 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The fruity 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo Bricco Lago is a bright ruby red color and has a lovely, spiced accent in its aromas of wild strawberries, spice, and sweet flowers. It’s medium-bodied and fresh, with a chalky texture, a light sanguine note through the palate, and ripe tannins. Made with 30-40% whole berries and raised in cask, it has a good deal of structure and freshness and is going to have a wide drinking window over the next several years. (5/13/24)"

Cold maceration is used, followed by whole berry fermentation (not whole cluster, as they wish to avoid excessive power). 8 to 12 months of barrel aging set this Nebbiolo into a different realm in relation to other wines in its category."
