(Elena’s initials) is highly expressive and aromatic with notes of fresh pineapple, saline, papaya, honey, and fresh wet stones, giving the wine an almost Sauvignon-like quality. Ripe and long on the palate, it’s savory with herbaceous, fresh energy and more tropical notes. With a good deal of concentration and fantastic structure, it exhibits resinous undertones and Riesling-like aging potential and should drink well over the next 10 years. (May 2024)"

In fact, they are two of the most vocal spokespeople for the Timorasso grape, which is growing in popularity. This age-worthy wine shows aromas of peach, pear and honey-glazed almond. Creamy, ample and beautifully layered in the glass, it offers up hints of apricot, chamomile and white flowers, with light tropical accents that develop in the glass. Gentle, non-oxidative extraction with stems lends texture, while blocked malolactic fermentation and aging in 5HL Clayver cement barrels keeps the flavors bright. This is beautifully done.
