Herbal, bracing, crisp red berry and cherry fruit. There is a clarity of flavor and alpine purity to this wine. Energetic, linear, crunchy red fruits burst out of the glass. An edge of austerity to begin but finishing on the most wonderful, vital, wild strawberry and raspberry fruit. From two hectares of vineyard in the volcanic hillsides of Boca, 450 meters above sea level. A blend of 85% Nebbiolo and 15% Vespolina, aged in large used Slavonian oak casks for two and a half years before bottling.
