91+ points John Gilman (View from the Cellar): "Based on how fine the 2021 Puligny villages bottling is chez Carillon, I would venture to suggest that anyone lucky enough to get offered a few bottles of his premier crus will be very well served to accept them! The 2021 Puligny AC is beautifully floral and precise on the nose, wafting from the glass in a blend of apple, pear, a touch of pink grapefruit, a lovely base of chalky soil tones, lemon blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and racy, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent soil signature, zesty acids and a long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. 2027-2055. (Dec 2022)"

91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).

16/20 points Jancis Robinson: "2.7 ha (6.7 acres). 15% new oak. Tank sample. Mid-pale lemon. Very classic, fresh but ripe apple and lemon. Medium-bodied with tangy, brisk acidity. Touch of leesiness, and spice and vanilla from the oak. Fresh and vigourous. Moderate volume and length. Drink 2025-2030 (Jan 2023)"
