91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Chassagne AC bottling was a touch more reserved in personality than the Puligny at the time of my visit in early December and this wine will probably want at least a year longer in the cellar before it to blossoms properly. The nose is quite promising, offering up scents of pear, fresh pineapple, a lovely base of soil tones, fruit blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and a bit buttoned up today behind its girdle of acidity, with a fine core of fruit, excellent focus and balance and a long, classy finish. I like this very well indeed, but the Puligny seems to have a bit more inherent soil complexity to its personality than the Chassagne, and for this reason, I give the former a very slight edge in 2020. 2025-2050. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
