I designed the 2019 Signature Silver bottling as a true harken back to John’s original bottlings of Silver in the late 1990s. The high dosing of Syrah provides beautiful fruit texture, weight, and a bump in immediate drinkability, while the 4 other varietals in the blend will allow it to age gracefully for many years. Always John’s favorite blend to make, the Signature Silver will also remain the first wine Caldwell ever made here at the estate. 168 cases produced."
