Producer notes: "[$115 list] The 2021 SOS Maverick is open-knit, with tons of fruit and sweet French oak. Along with the Right Bank in the club wines, the Maverick is designed to open up the earliest after bottling. Tannins are extracted to be velvety and smooth; a more drinkable (chuggable?) style. Ripe red fruits lead up to a broad, rich mid palate, with a finish that linger forever with strong toasted flavors from Ramiro’s barrels. 549 cases produced."
