Producer notes: "[$110 list] 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Tannat, 15% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot. A Bordeaux-style blend, but with a healthy spike of Tannat, the 2019 JFC Signature is the yin to our 2019 JFC Maverick’s yang. While the Maverick provides more immediate drinkability to the lineup, the Signature is designed to be more structured and age-worthy. The old vine Merlot and Cabernet Franc provide a broad base with even-keeled fruit weight and texture, while the Block 20 and Upper Range blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon add structure and balance. The unique Tannat addition provides tension and verve to the blend, while also creating the Signature’s long, bright, and structured finish. 500 cases produced."
