95+ points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "Produced with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo from El Cepillo—one of the coldest parts of San Carlos in the Valle de Uco—the 2015 El Indio El Cepillo tends to be austere and might benefit from a slightly warmer year like 2015. It's aromatic and elegant, quite impressive, with an elegant and fine palate. 6,000 bottles produced. Drink: 2018-2022. (Jun 2018)"

93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "[$54 list] Bright, saturated ruby-red. Tighter on the nose than the El Manzano, showing a faint peppery herbal element to go with aromas of cassis, redcurrant, licorice and violet. Then a bit fruitier than the El Manzano in the mouth, but with nicely integrated acidity and chalky lift giving definition to the middle palate. This fine-grained, juicy wine finishes with firm but surprisingly suave tannins, a captivating restrained sweetness and noteworthy vibrancy and length, with a note of black cherry (from the Tempranillo component?) emerging and the light herbal element nicely integrated. Drink: 2019-2027. (Sep 2019)"

93 points James Suckling: "A dense and rich 2015 blend with lots of plum, light chocolate and walnut character. Full body, layered and flavorful. Gorgeous finish. Drink or hold. (4/5/18)"
