91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Morgon Corcelette, from a parcel of 90-year-old vines that Burgaud purchased two years earlier, has a touch of chalk on the nose, darker fruit than the Grands Cras and a flinty tincture in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, a more austere and structured wine compared to the aforementioned cuvée, grippy with a touch of tobacco right on the finish. This will require more patience. Drink: 2027-2040. (Apr 2024)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "A fine even purple black. Sensuality with balance here, as in 2022. This seems to be a great terroir. This has impressive intensity of raspberry and damson fruit, with a refreshing finish. Fine crisp aftertaste alongside the generous fruit. 13.5% alcohol. Drink from 2026-2031. Tasted: February 2024."
