94 points Eric Guido (Vinous): "The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Case Vecie comes to life slowly in the glass. With time, a delicate and pretty display of rose-tinged cherry, licorice, cinnamon and hints of worn leather develop in the glass. This is so pretty and lifted. “Finesse” is not a word often used with Amarone; but yes, it’s that, too. It has vivid cherry fruits, brilliant acidity and stimulating minerality. The finish is staining and fresh, not quite as long as other vintages; yet the 2007 already makes an impact long before then. There is so much pleasure to be found here, and many years of development are in store for patient collectors. Drink 2022-2029 (Apr 2022)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Case Vecie boasts fabulous textural richness and body. Dark cherries, cinnamon, flowers, spices and licorice are some of the many notes that jump from the glass. Sweet balsamic notes develop with time, adding considerable complexity and character. The 2007 impresses for its mid-palate density and fabulous overall balance. (Dec 2011)"

93 points & 'Cellar Selection' Wine Enthusiast: "One of the standout Amarones from the lovely 2007 vintage, Case Vecie is opulent, rich and impressive in terms of intensity and complexity. It opens with dark, inky concentration and releases a long line of black cherry, spice and soft tobacco flavors. Drink after 2015. (Dec 2011)"

93 points James Suckling: "Aromas of dried fruits, chilies and dried spices. Full body with very fine tannins. There’s a chewy yet polished texture to the tannins. Then turns to chocolate. A complex wine. Better after 2015 but so delicious now. (Apr 2015)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "A hint of treacle laces together creamy flavors of macerated cherry, damson plum preserves, sticky bun and coffee liqueur. Kept fresh and finely balanced by juicy acidity, while lightly chewy tannins form the well-honed structure. Spice and kirsch notes linger on the finish. (Aug 2012)"
