94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the reds, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is incredibly expressive and open, with a great nose of spiced red fruits, iodine, spring flowers, rose, and baking spices. This carries to a medium to full-bodied Pinot Noir with a round, layered, elegant mouthfeel, rock-solid acidity, and a great finish. As always, it’s a terrific value in top-notch Pinot Noir and will have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2024-2039 (Aug 2024)"
94 points Decanter: "Sourced from the same three single vineyards that winemaker Greg Brewer highlights, this is a whoppingly good Pinot Noir at the $50 price point. Brewer is all about neutral oak and stem inclusion, giving his Pinot Noirs a savoury, seaside appeal. Aromatically robust with wild red fruits and bursting florals and spice. The palate shows the oceanic influence with a streak of salinity cutting through savoury Mediterranean scrub, Fuji apple skin, and wild country berries. A spicy chicory root character finishes and lifts the wine from what Brewer describes as a carnal texture. Drinking window 2024-2034 (May 2024)"
92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2022 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills) is everything an appellation-level wine should be: attractive, inviting and easy to drink. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, white flowers, orange peel and exotic spice overtones are beautifully lifted throughout. Drink 2024-2034 (Aug 2024)"
